Our government is supposed to be "of the people, by the people and for the people," not "of the lobbyists, by the wealthy, for the corporations."
The country is finally waking up to the devastating consequences of 30 years of "Supply-Side" economics. By stripping government of the needed resources — taxes, manpower and regulations — to maintain the bones of this nation and foster and create the innovations of the future, there can be only one outcome: Destruction.
- Destruction of the way of life our forefathers envisioned for us.
- Destruction of our natural resources.
- Destruction of our infrastructure.
- Destruction of our working and middle class.
- Destruction of our ability to foster innovation in young minds.
- Destruction of our standing in the world.
It is not too late to reverse the damage that has already been done. But in order to do that, we must — MUST — become our own LOBBYISTS to effect the changes necessary to reverse the dangerous course this country is on.
